Scope

Concerns fresh bananas of CN code 0803 90 19 subject to import duty, with a view to their release for free circulation. The authorisation allows the net weight to be determined and documented in weighing certificates.

Documents required in every case

• Criminal record extract less than one month old — the applicant, the person responsible for or exercising control over the management, and the employee responsible for customs matters. (Natural person: from the municipal administration. Company: from the SPF Justice — the Belgian federal justice department — Central Criminal Records, together with the extract from the Moniteur belge recording the appointment.)
• Waived if you are an AEO.
