Where to file the application Belgian national procedure (AGD&A)

This authorisation does not go through a European portal: it follows a Belgian national procedure, before the AGD&A (the Belgian customs and excise administration).

The registered consignor may dispatch excise goods under duty suspension from the place of importation, once the goods have been released for free circulation.

Why it matters

It avoids paying excise on importation where the goods are destined for a tax warehouse or for another Member State. The movement is covered by EMCS.
