Use of an electronic transport document as a customs declaration ETD

Allows the electronic transport document to be used as the transit declaration, for air or sea transport.

Who it is for

Airlines and shipping companies, which may use an electronic transport document as the transit declaration — an electronic manifest accompanied by an air waybill or a bill of lading.

Condition

The holder notifies the authorities of all offences, irregularities and discrepancies, and cooperates in resolving them.

Documents required in every case

• Criminal record extract less than one month old — the applicant, the person responsible for or exercising control over the management, and the employee responsible for customs matters. (Natural person: from the municipal administration. Company: from the SPF Justice — the Belgian federal justice department — Central Criminal Records, together with the extract from the Moniteur belge recording the appointment.)
• Waived if you are an AEO.
