Authorised Economic Operator AEO

A status recognising an operator's reliability in the eyes of the customs administrations. Two strands that combine: AEOC (customs simplifications) and AEOS (safety and security).

AEO governs access to several authorisations, opens the way to a guarantee waiver on special procedures, and waives the criminal record extract in eleven procedures.
