PN/TS and transfers between temporary storage facilities

Important development on the PN/TS process for operators at Liège Airport.

The authorisations department of Liège customs has just sent operators two emails concerning PN/TS, transfers, and discharge between temporary storage facilities (IST).

The attached summary presentation sets out everything needed to handle this deferral period, which runs to 31 December 2026.

In short:

• The first-line temporary storage declaration (TSD) is mandatory from 1 August. However, transfers and the discharge of movements between first- and second-line temporary storage facilities may continue on the basis of the former e-commerce transfer authorisation, until 31 December 2026.
• No TSD in second line, but record-keeping and time-limit rules apply — unless you are ready and wish to test the operations.
